DESCRIPTION

A hand carved sculptural wood lamp manufactured by Witco is from the mid 20th century.  The imposing lamp has been retrofitted using new electical hardware with a nickel finish, new wrapped gray nylon cording and a new retro plug.  The lamp is not signed or tagged.  The wooden form of the lamp measures approximately 22 3/4 inches tall,  the base is 8 inches square; the total height of the lamp, considering the lampshade riser, measures 34 to 37 inches.  The lampshade is NOT included in the sale.

CONDITION

The wood base to the lamp is in very good vintage condition with new hardware, wiring and plug. There appears to be some wood loss to the bottom and bottom right front corner, but cannot be seen when lamp is upright.

SHIPPING

The table lamp will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the table lamp will be insured for the sales price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival.
