DESCRIPTION

A large aluminum and steel table lamp with three art glass rondels by Finnish designer Nanny Still. The lamp was manufactured by RAAK Lighting Company in the Netherlands, designed in 1972 and is model number D2095. The lamp is in the brutalish / modernist style and is all original including the cord. The lamp measures approximately 34 inches tall and 18 1/2 inches in diameter, the lampshade is 14 inches tall and 18 1/2 inches in diameter and the lamp without the shade is 24 inches tall and the base is 7 1/2 inches in diameter. The lamp has its original RAAK decal on the lampshade and the metal weight on the bottom is marked RAAK as well.

CONDITION

The lamp is in good vintage condition. There are scratchs and discorations throughout the shade, there are indentations at each screw and there are a moderate amount of small dents at one screw. The stem is in very good condition, some scratchs and all the glass medalions are free from chips, cracks and discolorations. The base has scratches throughout, some deep and some small dents. Considering the issues, the lamp presents very well, it's a stunner, and has been been cleaned throughout and ready to use.

SHIPPING

The lamp offered will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and two rigid cardboard boxes. To safely ship the lamp, the lampshade will have to be removed and shipped separately from the base of the lamp. One box will contain the base (32" x 12" x 12") and the second box will contain the lampshade (24" x 24" x 24"). The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will always be insured for the sold amount, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival if the value is over $100.00.
