DESCRIPTION

Two vintage matte aluminum sconces with white interiors designed by Maija Liisa Komulainen for Raak. The sconces are call FUGA sconces, designed in 1970 and manufactured in the Netherlands. Each sconce is approximately 16 13/16 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The cords are appromately 92 inches in length, have two stage switches and use E-12, candelier style, light bulbs with a 40 watt max. Both sconces have "Raak" labels in the inside. Both are ready to add to your interior and can easily be hung on a wall.

CONDITION

The two sconces are in very good vintage condition. The outside surface of the sconces have had their protective coating removed, then they were cleaned and not recoated. There is a moderate amount of scratching on both sconces, some deep, but they are only noticable under close scrutiny. The white paint on the inside is original, slightly discolorated with some paint loss and moderate scratching. Both lamps have been rewired with a new cord, switch and plug.

SHIPPING

The sconces will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the sconces will be insured for the sales price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival.
