DESCRIPTION

An adjustable “Eyeball” Lamp which was designed as an “Arredoluce Technical Study”, similar to the two “eyeball” wall fixture designed by Angelo Lelli. The lamp was manufacture by Arredoluce, made in Italy, and distributed in the United States by Casella Lighting in San Francisco, California. The lamp was designed in 1972, the model number is 14139. The lamp is listed on page 372 of the book ARREDOLUCE RAISONNÉ 1943-1987 by Anty Pansera, Alessandro Padoan, Alessandro Palmaghini. Published by SilvanaEditoriale in 2018. The lamp is 5 1/2 inches tall, 4 1/2 inch wide and sets about 3 1/2 inches from the wall. The “eyeball” can be maneuvered and is held in place magnetically, there is a dimmer switch below the “eyeball”, the lamp has been wired for 110V US current. The 40W bulb comes with the lamp. The lamp has on it’s back an Arredoluce sticker and a Casella Lighting sticker.


CONDITION

The lamp is in very good vintage condition for its age. There is some discoloring of the laquer, mostly on the front and right side. There is some scratches on the “eyeball”. The lamp works and the cord is in great condition.

SHIPPING

The lamp will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box. The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the package will be insured for its sold price and the package will need a direct signature upon delivery.
