DESCRIPTION

An adjustable tray table with a molded plywood top. The table was designed by Ernest Farmer under the direction of George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1949, the table was in production from 1950 to 1956. The table first showed up in the Nelson Room at Alexander Girard’s 1949 Detroit Institute Of Arts exhibition. The table offered is an early example with the T tray support, embossed with the model number under the tray and is in calico ash. The top measures 15 x 15 inches and the table extends from 19 to 33 inches.

SHIPPING

The table can be carefully packed using bubble wrap and a rigid cardboard box (24" x 24" x 24" DW).  The carrier would be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the table will be insured for the sales price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival.  The buyer can also ship via their preferred white glove shipper which I would be happy to work with.
