DESCRIPTION

A brass sconce with a clear glass globe designed by Hans Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd, made in Sweden in the 1960’s. The sconce is approximately 14 inches tall, 12 inches wide and projects 8 inches from the wall. It is still outfitted with a European bulb socket, but American bulbs can be used. The sconce can be hard wired to the wall, but currently the sconce is outfitted with a new brown twist nylon cord, a dimmer / off / on switch and plug.

CONDITION

The sconce is in very good vintage condition, no bends or dents on the metal, there are a few small discolorations on the hood. Otherwise, the sconce is ready to be installed.

SHIPPING

The sconce will be carefully packed using bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and a rigid cardboard box.  The carrier will be Federal Express Ground for businesses or Federal Express Home Delivery, the piece will be insured for the sales price, a Federal Express tracking number will be emailed to the buyer on the day of shipment, which is usually within two business days after purchase, and the package will have to be signed for upon arrival.
