DESCRIPTION

An oak, brass and glass wall clock manufactured by Howard Miller Clock Company.  The design is attributed to Arthur Umanoff because of similar traits found on documented Umanoff clocks, this one is a rare model and no documentation has been found.    The clock is approximately 12 3/4 inches wide, 12 3/4 inches tall and sets 3 1/2 inches from the wall. The model number is 523, was made in Zeeland, Michigan and is marked on the face and has a tag on the back.

CONDITION

The clock is in very good vintage condition. The oak case is in very good condition, there is a moderate scratch on the glass between the 11 and 12, the face is paper and has some scratches, there are a few paint chips on the white hands, the brass ring is a little loose to the clock face and has a few tarnished spots, there is rust and oxidation on one of the battery posts and the clock is sort of loud when ticking. The clock works and appears to keep good time and uses a C battery. Please note the photographs carefully as they are part of the description and condition of the clock.
